LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – A 51-year-old man died late Friday morning after his lone vehicle rolled over.
Police received a call about an accident north of East Bonanza Road on Winchester Street near Nellis Boulevard on October 8, 2021 at around 11:31 a.m.
According to Las Vegas Police, a Nissan Titan was traveling east on Bonanza and approaching Winchester Street while pulling a small trailer. The Nissan crossed the median and pulled into the west lane of Bonanza, then hit a raised curb before colliding with an apartment block wall at the northeast corner of the intersection, police said.
The driver died at UMC on Friday evening, the police said. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will disclose his identity, cause and type of death pending notification to the next of kin.
Until the Clark County Coroner completes, the driver’s death will not be counted as a resultant collision that occurred under the jurisdiction of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for 2021.
