Bodycam footage showed the aftermath of a two-car accident involving the Democratic governor of Nevada, Steve Sisolak, on October 17th.

In the video released Thursday by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Sisolak sits on the curb while interacting with his medical and law enforcement wife, Kathy.

Sisolak said he tried to turn left at the amber light instead of giving way. He was later quoted for not giving in. The other driver was reportedly driving 100 km / h in a 45 mph zone and was charged with speeding. Sisolak was driving 24 km / h at the time of the crash.

“I didn’t see any cars coming and this thing hit me so hard that I can’t even tell you,” Sisolak told an official in the video. “It flew. I mean, it spun my car, I think twice.”
