Sisolak’s Lexus SUV turned left at a traffic light on a blinking yellow arrow into the path of the woman’s Nissan Sentra, which police said had a green light.
The woman has not been identified. The police said the accident was recorded on surveillance video from a shop near the crime scene.
The governor’s SUV spun and hit the landscape while the Nissan hit a traffic light pole, knocking it over.
The woman was given a sobriety test, but not the governor, police said. No signs of impairment were observed.
A governor’s spokeswoman did not immediately respond to news calling for comment on the crash on Thursday.
