LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – Former MGM Resorts International CEO Jim Murren launched his Las Vegas property for $ 10.5 million.

Jim and Heather Murren are the original owners of the property, called Skyspace, according to a press release located in The Ridges community at 7 Painted Feather Way.

Listing Agent Ivan Sher calls the property “one of the most unique architectural properties in Las Vegas in southern Nevada”.

According to the press release, the almost 13,000 square meter modern property Skyspace is one of only two residences in southern Nevada designed by the architects Marmol Radziner. The house is made entirely of glass, steel and concrete.

The house has four bedroom suites in the main house, a detached guest casita with one bedroom and eight baths.

The interior-exterior design of the home includes desert landscapes with bamboo and pine trees integrated into the main living spaces, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls in almost every room that offer unobstructed panoramic views of the golf course, city lights, and surrounding mountains.

The property extends over approximately 1.5 acres and has a host of amenities including an elevator, an underground half basketball court, a home gym, dedicated office space, a home movie theater and a wine cellar. The master suite has a modern bathroom with a centered oversized tub, the release notes.

“This home is desert contemporary architecture at its finest,” said Ivan Sher, director of the Ivan Sher Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties. “It’s architectural art with some of the most incredible views of the Las Vegas Strip and the entire desert skyline.”

The home also features an air-conditioned garage that is completely invisible and surrounded by a native desert landscape palate designed by Sage Design Studios and the Las Vegas Springs Preserve.

“Skyspace is a fascinating art and sensory experience,” said Sher. “It captures the natural light of the rising and setting sun, combines this with a sophisticated light pattern within the structure and creates the illusion that you are floating through the room through the lighting. It’s a truly transformative experience. “The Skyspace’s advanced technology program is available for purchase outside of home sales.
