LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – Running a small business takes a lot of work and determination. A local young woman certainly has the necessary qualities! But as 13 Action News reporter Jackie Kostek reports, she attributes much of her success to support from the Las Vegas community.
We have crystals
Jazmine Danielle is the owner of Queendom Cultivation on South Valley View Blvd near 215.
“We have crystals, we have herbs, we have incense. Everything you really need on your spiritual journey,” says Jazmine.
HUGE TURNOUT
The 27-year-old ran her business entirely online for about four years. According to Jazmine, business was booming in 2020. She opened a small store last March.
“I definitely thought super small. I didn’t have one, our grand opening was a big turnout. Much bigger than we expected. Because we’re in a pandemic, I didn’t think people would come out,” says Jazmine.
ABSOLUTELY SURPRISING
According to Jazmine, customers have scooped baskets full of crystals and herbs. She also regularly sells meditation cushions and singing bowls. The demand was so great that Jazmine hired additional staff.
“It’s absolutely surprising to me and our entire team,” says Jazmine.
SO MUCH LOVE
In just two months, says Jazmine, her shop had visitors from all over the country and around the world. But she says locals show up in large numbers!
“It’s not just my church, but the entire Las Vegas church that shows us so much love,” says Jazmine.
CHANGE LIFE
Despite the focus and commitment to her business over the past four years, Jazmine says she is still shocked and overwhelmed.
“It just started with me and my goal was to bring healing to my community. I was able to achieve this with these tools. I’ve seen people’s lives change. My life has changed. So it’s amazing “says Jazmine.
YOU CAN DO IT
Jazmine says she hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams. With dedication and passion for a career, she says that there are people out there who are ready to support you.
“It will happen if you let it. Don’t hold up. Just go ahead and don’t put imaginary barriers and constraints on why it can’t happen. Find ways to make it happen because if I can.” . ” If I can do it, anyone can, “says Jazmine.
