We’re a game in preseason 2021 and these four Las Vegas Raiders seem to be tumbling down the depth charts towards Week 2.
The Las Vegas Raiders beat the Seattle Seahawks during the team’s first preseason game on Saturday night when many players opened some eyes. It was a clean win for the Silver and Black, their first preseason or regular season game in front of the fans, and it sent the spectators home happy.
After the game, the Raiders had to increase the list from 90 to 85 by Tuesday and they did that quickly and did this business on Monday. Now the rest of the players in the camp will try to find their way into the 53-man list, and to do this they will have to continue climbing the depth tables.
The Raiders still have a lot of summer ahead of them, including two more preseason games and more than 30 other players to be dropped. The good thing is, the depth looks a lot better than it did a year ago, and we’ll soon see if the team made the right line-up decisions when the team welcomes Baltimore to Allegiant Stadium on September 13th.
Here we look at four members of the current squad who seem to be falling on the depth map this summer.
