A jackpot that has been in the making for years hit downtown Las Vegas on Saturday night.
A local player making his sixth visit to Golden Nugget received a royal flush on Crazy 4 Poker and won a progressive jackpot of $ 1,093,702.

The winning hand was dealt shortly after 9pm, according to a casino spokesman. Part of the pot is wagered by the casino and the remainder is accrued through player betting, the spokesman said.
