A group associated with the QAnon conspiracy is banned from holding a convention in a Las Vegas location slated for an October event, The Associated Press reports.
The “For God & Country Patriot Double Down” event, hosted by The Patriot Voice group, was to be held in the convention room of the Caesars Entertainment Inc. Forum.
Kate Whiteley, executive of Caesars Entertainment, confirmed to the Las Vegas Review Journal that the event, scheduled for October 23-25, would no longer take place at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip or any other Caesars premises.
Tickets to the event, organized by Trump loyalist John Sabal aka QAnon John, ranged from $ 650 to $ 3,000. Among those expected at the convention were Michael Flynn, the former national security advisor in the Trump administration, and Jim Watkins, founder of the QAnon conspiracy online forum 8kun, according to Business Insider.
It is unclear whether the event, which will be billed as the “successor” to the “Patriot Roundup” on Memorial Day Weekend, will take place at a different location.
No information is currently available for another venue.
