HENDERSON (KTNV) – UPDATE AUG. 10: Clark County coroner identified the man whose body was found in Lake Las Vegas as Fernando Aranabia, 50, of Henderson. The cause and nature of Aranabia’s death are pending, the autopsy has been completed.
Henderson Police found a body in the Lake Las Vegas community on Monday morning.
Authorities say they responded around 8 a.m. in the Strada Di Villaggio area regarding a deceased person related to a reported drowning on Sunday.
Currently, police say the person’s death does not appear suspicious, but no other immediate details have been released.
Henderson police say the scene remained active Monday and the investigation is ongoing.
