Frontier Airlines announced a twice-weekly direct flight from Northwest Arkansas National Airport to Las Vegas.

The flight will start with prices as low as $ 39, the airline said. The flights begin on August 13th.

The announcement is another in a series of direct flights recently added to XNA’s flight schedule. Allegiant Air announced direct flights to St. Petersburg and Fort Lauderdale, and Breeze Airways added flights to Tampa, New Orleans and San Antonio.

Allegiant already offers a direct flight from XNA to Las Vegas.

“This new route comes at the perfect time as travel demand for XNA picks up,” said Andrew Branch, the airport’s chief business development officer. “This new route is the result of the success Frontier has seen with its Denver service. We are confident that the people of northwest Arkansas will enjoy this new non-stop option to Las Vegas. “

Frontier announced it will add direct flights to Las Vegas from five airports, including XNA.

“We are very excited to expand into Las Vegas with five new non-stop routes,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Commercial. “Frontier now proudly offers 48 non-stop Las Vegas routes for better access and affordability to visit one of the top entertainment destinations in the world. We look forward to launching these new flights in August and welcoming southern Nevadans and visitors on board for unforgettable vacation memories. “
