Golden Knights striker Max Pacioretty and defender Alex Pietrangelo shot out of their zone, sliding the puck back and forth on the ice before the blueliner fired a shot into the net.
Vegas took the lead against Montreal with Pietrangelo’s goal in the third period but ultimately lost the playoff game in June. Well, property records show that the hockey teammates passed something else between them: a mansion in Las Vegas.
Pietrangelo sold his 8,321-square-foot home in Summerlin to Pacioretty this month for $ 6.4 million, less than a year after the defense attorney bought it for $ 6 million, according to Clark County records.
Pacioretty bought the sprawling single-story home almost a week after completing the sale of his two-story, 7,558-square-foot home in Summerlin for $ 6.25 million.
The luxury homes are less than a mile apart and are both located in The Ridges, an affluent enclave on Flamingo Road on Town Center Drive known for massive, custom built homes near the edge of the desert with up-close mountain views.
You are also less than five miles from Summerlin’s Knights’ Practice Track, City National Arena.
All in all, NHL players sold their digs amid a heated housing market as Las Vegas has seen record prices and rapid sales for months.
Luxury homes make up a fraction of all sales in Southern Nevada given their high asking prices, and they usually don’t act fast or always get the price the seller wants. But in the midst of the current frenzy, villas have been moving from one owner to the next at an accelerated pace.
Golden Knights officials did not respond to a request for comment from the two teammates. Efforts to reach the players through their agents were also unsuccessful on Wednesday.
Pietrangelo bought his house last November, a month after signing a seven-year free agent contract for $ 61.6 million with the Golden Knights.
The home sits on half an acre on Crested Cloud Way and has a 55-plus-foot-long pool, putting green, three fire pits, basement game room, and underground parking that can accommodate around 15 cars.
Pacioretty bought his home on Night Song Way for $ 3.8 million in October 2018, real estate records show, a month after the Canadiens sold him to the Knights and he signed a four-year $ 28 million deal with his new one Team signed.
As can be seen on Zillow, the six-bedroom house had steam and sauna rooms, a fitness room, a sports field and a cellar with a wine cellar and integrated bar.
In August 2018, a few months before Pacioretty took over the place, a clairvoyant named Mona Van Joseph, also known as “Mystic Mona”, was entertaining real estate agents during a realtor’s open house.
“It’s the right house for someone’s future,” Mystic Mona reportedly told the crowd. “This house has a very open zen feeling in which a person can bring in their own identity. I love that.”
She also predicted, by looking at five cards from her tarot deck, that the house would find a buyer this month.
Close. According to Zillow, the sale was signed in September.
