LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – After more than a year of closure, the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas will reopen on Tuesday, June 1st at 4 p.m.

They had to close due to the pandemic and waited to reopen until they could do so at 100% capacity. Today was the day many have been waiting for, including the staff who have returned there.

The restaurant says 80% of its stores are from tourists, so it made sense to wait for it to reopen. The lifting of restrictions in the counties means business is returning in the valley.

Tony Sincger of Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas says it’s nice to see the city come to life again.

“We’re very excited … after 15 months of closure,” added Sincger, Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas.

Las Vegas has slowly returned to normal in recent months, with business owners now saying more customers are allowing more money.

“We have around 200,000 guests a year, this is a huge operation, the government is saying overnight they have to shut down, this is a huge impact for us,” added Sincger.

Once you are vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask, but don’t put the masks away yet. Businesses can still require people to wear masks whenever they want.

Masks are still required in public transport and transport hubs such as airports.

Tonight the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas celebrates the reopening with live music.
