LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – President Biden’s vaccination mandate for companies with 100+ employees isn’t good for some local business owners and employees.

Legal experts say even though it is a mandate, staff still have a choice on the matter.

The three options include: get the vaccine, get tested for COVID, or lose your job.

John Allen has spoken to WFLA’s sister ward, KLAS, and says he is coming to terms with his decision to quit his job because of the vaccine mandate.

“I screamed all over the place, I can no longer go into my office,” he said. “It’s about what you stand for, if you don’t stand for anything, then you fall for everything.”

Allen resigned from his job on Thursday evening, right after the president announced that all companies with more than 100 employees must mandate vaccines.

“I don’t know what’s really in this tube. The reading on the tube can tell so many things about ingredients, but what do they really add to your body at the end of the day? I don’t know, “said Allen.

There are a lot of people on social media who comment and say, “It should be a person’s choice to do both.”

While others say this mandate will be lifted.

But attorney Mathew Hoffman of Battle Born Injury Lawyers says this is very unlikely.

“It’s FDA cleared, just like any other vaccine we all took as kids to go to school or college, and so they’re going to enforce this and try to end this,” says Hoffman.

In the end, when making a final decision, it is best to get the facts from educated sources and speak to your doctor.
