Las Vegas breaking news for Jan. 13, 2021

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – Below is a roundup of the breaking news from across the Las Vegas Valley.

9:37 pm
LVMPD is at the scene of a shooting in the 9300 block of Daffodil Sun Avenue near Sky Canyon Park Drive and US 95. Police say a person was rushed to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Nobody is currently in custody. There is currently no information about the victim’s condition. Avoid the area.

8:47 pm
The RTC reports a crash on Oso Blanca Road heading west on Durango Drive in northwest Las Vegas. All lanes are closed, the authority announced. Expect delays.

4:55 pm
LVMPD is currently investigating a multiple vehicle accident near Charleston Boulevard and Pecos Road. According to the police, a person was involved who was walking and was critically injured. This person is being treated at UMC Trauma. Impairment is suspected and the traffic officials determine.

Traffic to the east on Charleston will cease at Pecos. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

8:30 AM
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire with two alarms in a Clark County Water Reclamation building at 6000 East Rochelle Ave. Firefighters said they worked with staff to turn off the equipment in the building while they came to the flames. No initial injuries were reported in the incident with the investigated cause.

Henderson Police say they were sent to block 2900 on Wigwam Parkway regarding a possible break-in. When first examined, however, the building appeared to have remained unsecured and people were crouching inside.
