LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – The following is a roundup of the latest news from the Las Vegas Valley.

The Southern Nevada Regional Transportation Commission reports a crash on US 95 northbound in Indian Springs. Motorway blocked all lanes, use other routes. Expect delays

1 PM
It appears that Interstate 15 South has reopened near Primm. However, there is a backup.

The southbound I-15 is secured about a mile from Jean after the route near Primm was closed in the morning. The roads are dry, snow only in the mountains #VegasWeather @KTNV

However, the scenic drive in the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area remains closed for the remainder of the day.

NV Energy reports that there are currently more than 1,600 customers in the Las Vegas Valley without power, including more than 1,400 customers in zip code 89015. The estimated time to restore power is 1:00 PM

The Scenic Drive at Red Rock Canyon is closed until at least noon due to snow and unsafe conditions.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue was on site at Mount Charleston, according to a report from an injured hiker. The person was rescued with a so-called LV rescue after helicopter support was not possible.
