Siegel Group, a Las Vegas-based operator of budget motels and long-term accommodations, announced Friday that it has purchased Motel 6 and Studio 6 in New Orleans East and plans to rename them Siegel Select New Orleans.
The two hotels are located at 12330 I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East and have 248 units.
The acquisition increases the number of Siegel Suites locations in Louisiana to five.
Siegel operates other properties in Bossier City and Alexandria under the Siegel Select brand and in Baton Rouge as HomeTowne Studios.
