Yohan Lowie, a developer of upscale Las Vegas properties like One Queensridge Place and Tivoli Village, is for sale.
The 17,643-square-foot residence at 9409 Kings Gate Court in Queensridge has seven bedrooms and nine baths and is listed for $ 16 million. According to a listing on the real estate website Zillow.com, the property is called “Villa Piedra” or “Stone House”.
The single-story home, built in 2005, sits on 2.85 acres of land, according to a sales brochure for the property. An adjacent vacant lot is part of the plot.
The entrance is via a circular driveway and a motor court. The house has an attached garage with space for seven vehicles and space for a boat or mobile home.
Elaborate bespoke stone carvings, mosaics, and architectural and design features can be found throughout the property. The large living room has a 30-foot ceiling and covers 2,700 square feet, and there is also a library and movie theater and a 1,000-square-foot freestanding casita, according to the listing.
In addition to the master bedroom suite, which has his and hers bathrooms and dressing areas, there is a private exercise or work space and an outdoor spa. A covered terrace and a vaulted veranda are also accessible from the master suite, according to the sales brochure.
Kitchen amenities include a breakfast bar, breakfast nook, custom cabinets, an island, marble and stone floors, and a walk-in pantry, according to the Zillow listing.
Anthony Spiegel, broker-salesman at The Ivan Sher Group, said the house was built in a “neoclassical palazzo style”. “It covers 63,000 square feet of stone, and” every single stone in the house has been hand cut for its specific application. “
The main bathroom in the master bedroom alone took six months to build, “because everything is hand-cut and hand-applied,” he said.
The property also has a 7,000-square-foot pool, and the mosaic pieces on the side and bottom were hand-positioned, he said.
The true “history of the house”, said Spiegel, lies not only in its luxurious details, but also in the attention to detail in the design and construction.
Additional features include eight fireplaces, a heated pool, elevator, courtyard, porch and terrace. The pool complex also has fountains and statues, a pavilion and fireplace, and a semicircular pavilion, according to the sales brochure.
Lowie is a director of EHB Companies, a Las Vegas-based real estate development and construction company whose projects included One Queensridge Place and Tivoli Village.
