Las Vegas police: 1 dead, 3 hurt after shooting following dinner party | Crime

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – Four people were shot dead after a dinner party in Las Vegas on Sunday night, one of whom died.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, police received a gunfight call just before 2 a.m. on August 29, related to a shooting at the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Westcliff Drive. According to police, four people were shot and taken to MountainView Hospital for treatment.

Two of the people shot were taken to Sunrise Hospital, police said, and one of them died.

LVMPD said earlier that night a group of people met for a dinner party in a shop on the 1700 block of Rainbow near Vegas Drive. An argument broke out in the store, which was closed for the evening.

Shortly thereafter, the four victims got into a car and left the parking lot, followed by an unidentified vehicle. The two vehicles stopped next to each other at Westcliff Junction and a suspect fired multiple shots at the victims.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim as soon as the next of kin are notified.
