UPDATE – Las Vegas police said Saturday morning the woman had been safely located.

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are seeking help from the public in locating a missing and at risk woman.

According to police, Alfreda Hayes, 78, was missing on August 6 at around 12:45 p.m. near the 1200 block on South 16th Street in Las Vegas.

Hayes is six feet tall, has brown eyes and gray-brown hair.

Police said it was unclear what Hayes was most recently wearing.

Hospitals in the Las Vegas area are asked to review their patient registries for missing persons.
