LAS VEGAS (AP) – A New Mexico visitor won a $ 10.5 million slot machine jackpot early Tuesday at a Las Vegas casino.
South Point Hotel Casino & Spa said the Megabucks payout was Nevada’s biggest jackpot of the year.
The player won on a $ 5 bet, according to a press release that said the winner did not want to be publicly identified.
Megabucks is manufactured and operated by London-based International Game Technology.
The jackpot on the property on the southern Las Vegas Strip came just hours after an Alaska tourist won more than $ 2.1 million by wagering $ 40 on a Monopoly Millionaire slot machine at The Cosmopolitan.
The name of this winner was also not published.
