In 2019, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority estimated nearly 43 million tourists. Officials were expecting 2020 to be a record year, and metropolitan Nevada has set one thing … in the negative. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, barely 19 million visitors came to the city – the lowest figure in decades.
Today restaurants and casinos will be working to full capacity again. If the move is successful, the city’s slogan will be reversed. What happened to Vegas won’t stay in Vegas.
