Upon returning from EDC Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported 34 arrests of crimes made during the 2021 edition of the music festival.
According to a spokesman for the LVMPD, six other arrests were made for alcohol driving. Police also passed 43 further charges of wrongdoing, local NBC subsidiary KSNV News 3 reports. About 500,000 people attended the festival throughout the weekend.

The police did not provide any further information about the 34 arrests. The amount represents a significant decrease compared to the number of the 2019 edition of the festival. According to the Reno Gazette journal, this year’s festival resulted in 51 arrests for serious crimes or gross misdemeanors.
EDC returned to Las Vegas Motor Speedway October 22-24 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the legendary dance music brand. The festival featured many of the world’s best DJs such as Eric Prydz, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Alison Wonderland and Zedd.
