Las Vegas (KTNV) – Like many other companies, Las Vegas tattoo shops were forced to close during a pandemic. The owner of a store admits it was a terrible time. But he told 13 Action News host Tricia Kean that business is booming again.
REVOLT TATTOOS
Before the Pandemic, People Rebellion Tattoo, located on Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain, inside the Fashion Show Mall.
“It opened on Black Friday just before the pandemic. The first three months were very busy, ”says shop owner and tattoo artist Joey Hamilton.
COVID STRESS
But he says COVID-19 stopped everything!
“As an entrepreneur, it was probably one of the most stressful parts of my entire career. 20 years in this business, ”says Joey.
Joey says he had to contact hundreds of customers around the world to change his appointments. Fortunately, his team says they will be ready to handle the new guidelines when they are resumed.
Safety precautions
“A lot of the things they told us have already been done by us. The only addition was a mask that everyone could rely on. Anyway, we are already in society. It was far away, ”says Joey.
Joey says business is back, Las Vegas too!
OPEN BACK UP
“It feels like the church is opening again. Resorts World has just opened across the street. It will be big for us. For the whole community, ”says Joey.
And that’s the Las Vegas community that Joey says he’s really grateful for.
“I feel really out of control, this place, this place, this city has accepted us,” says Joey.
Accepted by Las Vegas
