LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Wynn Las Vegas and Encore will no longer require masks from fully vaccinated guests starting Thursday night. It did after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published new guidelines on mitigation measures that Governor Steve Sisolak and the Nevada Gaming Control Board said they would follow.

If a guest is not fully vaccinated, they must continue to wear a mask.

“The resort trusts that guests will take appropriate precautions based on their personal vaccination status,” Wynn said in a press release.

The resort will notify guests of this change.

Even employees who have submitted proof of vaccination do not have to wear a mask. Those who haven’t verified will continue to wear them while working. Wynn says at least 91% of its Las Vegas employees have been vaccinated.

Wynn and Encore are currently 100% busy on casino floors. Plexiglass has been removed from table games and slot machines.
