KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Lady Vols will be spending the remainder of the week in Las Vegas, Nevada. The team wants to play at the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout.

Las Vegas is the home of Lady Vols Guard Rae Burrell, but coach Kellie Harper had no update Tuesday morning on the All-SEC performer who was injured in the Tennessee opener.

The Lady Vols will practice in Lady Vegas on Wednesday and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together on Thursday. Then Friday is game day when Tennessee takes on Kansas at 3:30 p.m. ET, and then it’s back on the field on Saturday with a game at 6:30 p.m. ET against Oklahoma State.

Among the questions the coach asked Tuesday were her thoughts on Lady Vol Legend and Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings, who compared her to Pat Summitt and said Harper possesses multiple patisms.

Harper’s Lady Vols ranks 11th in the Associated Press poll published Tuesday. Tennessee moved up five places after beating Texas on Sunday.

A little business and fun for Tennessee on Wednesdays. The team will practice and then see a show in Las Vegas. On Thursday the ladies will share a Thanksgiving meal together.

Then Friday is game day, a Tennessee meets 4-0 Kansas. The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET. Then it’s Oklahoma State on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. ET.
