Here is this week’s list of 13 things to do in the Las Vegas Valley August 20-26, 2021:

1. Yoga lovers can try the new yoga class on the pool deck overlooking the Las Vegas Strip at The Cosmopolitan Hotel-Casino. The course combines elements from multiple yoga disciplines and flows between passive and active stretching to provide a rejuvenating yet relaxing experience. It costs just $ 20 for a 60-minute class that runs at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and 10:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

2. Las Vegas Aviators will be hosting Albuquerque Isotopes in a homestand for six games between August 19th and August 24th. There’s $ 2 beer night on August 19th; Aviator hat night on August 20 (first 2,000 fans); Aviator T-Shirt Night on August 21 (first 2,000 fans); Mutt Monday on August 24th; and Las Vegas Reyes de Plata to celebrate the pioneering history of the state at the forefront of precious metals mining on August 24th. The games start at 7:05 p.m.

3. The City of North Las Vegas is presenting Disney’s movie “Onward” during their next Movie Madness event on August 20th at Tom Williams Elementary School on East Tonopah Avenue. Free entry. Cool boxes, picnic baskets and blankets are welcome. Please no alcohol, high back chairs, tables or umbrellas.

4. PSYCHO Las Vegas returns to the Mandalay Bay Hotel Casino August 20-22. The immersive festival experience features performances by Danzig, Down, GZA, Exhorder, The Flaming Lips, Thievery Corporation, Doc McGhee and Tim Dillon. PSYCHO SWIM will take place on August 19th at the DAYLIGHT Beach Club. Tickets start at $ 128 for a single day or $ 299 for the 3-day pass.

5. The Las Vegas Little Theater on Schiff Drive will host live cabaret performances from August 20-22 and August 27-29, co-produced by April Sauline and Hallie Lyons. Watch local singers and dancers perform songs like “Dancing Queen,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Put on a Happy Face,” “Tap Your Troubles Away,” and more. Tickets are $ 30 and can be purchased online.

6. Head to Petitti Pool on North Bruce Street from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on August 21 for a pool party. Free admission. Music, games and food and refreshments are served on a first come, first served basis.

7. The Paint Party Experience, CHROMATIC – A Journey through Color, takes place on August 21st at 7pm at The AMP in Craig Ranch Regional Park on West Craig Road in North Las Vegas. There will be music, a painting area and a drying area. Participants are encouraged to wear white. The lineup includes Adventure Club, Blunt & Blondes, Hesh B2B Bommer, Hi I’m Ghost and Layz. Tickets start at $ 29.99 for general admission, with VIP tickets available.

8. Fergusons Downtown and @DTLV bring local and national entertainment to downtown Las Vegas with the Field Trip Festival on August 20th. Alternative R&B, groovy hip-hop and EDM artists will perform at the festival, including Dutch-Armenian DJ and producer Full Crate, hip-hop and R&J DJ OG Moose, rapper POW Mindset, Nate Quest, DJ and Culture journalist Kailyn Hype, electro party rocker and vintage clothing connoisseur DJ Crykit and DJ Tim Toones. There will also be a fashion show, photo booth installation, and decadent plant-based ice cream from Paradise City. Vegas Test Kitchen also offers delicious bites. Must be at least 18 years old to participate.

9. Mi Amor Art presents their very first princess painting party and fundraiser on August 21st for the benefit of the Shade Tree B women’s and children’s home. Storytime, games and photo opportunities. The studio also offers every child a free bubble balloon that they can customize and take home with their painted teacup. Light snacks and drinks will be offered during the event. The cost is $ 50 plus fees and includes art supplies, a teacup, and a bubble balloon. If you bring a donation item, you will receive a voucher worth 10 US dollars for your next visit to the studio.

10. The 13th Annual Ante 4 Autism takes place on August 21st at the South Point Hotel-Casino. Guest stars are Adrian Zmed, David Williams and Antonio Fargas. Co-hosts are Joey Amato, Staurt Carlitz, Randy Coconis, Karina Jett, Phil Miner, Myra Stone, Jerry Williams and more. The Grandview Lounge is open for registration at 2:00 p.m. and the event starts at 3:00 a.m. There are add-ons for USD 100, rebuys are allowed during the event until 4:40 pm, with a buy-in of USD 200. 11. Former drummer, co-songwriter and founding member of Guns N ‘Roses Steven Adler will perform at the Fremont Street Experience on August 21st. He will perform on the 3rd Street Stage at 9 p.m. Adler is considered one of the most legendary and well-known rock drummers. Adler and his ensemble will hit hits like “Welcome To The Jungle”, “Sweet Child O ‘Mine”, “Paradise City”, “Mr. Brownstone “and” Missile Queen “.

12. The SAINTS of Las Vegas will perform at the Sand Dollar Lounge on August 23rd. The Vegas-based band is known for having exuberant good times. Brent, Anthony, Keith, and Pat are known for their fun shows, fan interaction, and amazing song list of classic rock songs.

13. The Vagina Monologues returns to Space Las Vegas August 26-28 to commemorate Women’s Equality Day. The performances take place at 8:00 PM and feature a variety of Las Vegas’ best female talent. Tickets are $ 30 and are available online. A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will go to Dress for Success of Southern Nevada, the local subsidiary of the international nonprofit that enables women to thrive in business and life.
