LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – Here’s this week’s list of 13 things to do in the Las Vegas Valley between October 22-28, 2021:
1. The Las Vegas Philharmonic returns to the stage for a live performance at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on October 23rd to celebrate its 23rd season.
2. Vintage Market Days A vintage-inspired open-air marketplace is hosting its fall market on The Lawn in Downtown Summerlin from October 22nd to 24th
3. Soul Asylum, known for their 1993 Grammy-winning hit “Runaway Train”, will perform at The Veil in Silverton on October 23rd. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are available now for $ 35.
4. Springs Preserve’s Butterfly Habitat, open now through November 22nd and open Friday through Monday 10am to 3pm, weather permitting.
5. The Leap Celebrity Golf Invitational, presented by Rubicon Advisors, a two-day Celebrity-on-Tournament benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation, held October 24-25 at the Reflection Bay Golf Club in Lake Las Vegas.
6. GiGi’s Playhouse, a network of Down Syndrome Achievement Centers that offers free therapy and educational programs for all ages, is coming to Henderson. They are holding a preview event in Saguaro Park on October 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
7. Vegas Golden Knights will meet the Edmonton Oilers at T-Mobile Arena on October 23rd at 7pm
8. Nelly will perform at Drai’s Nightclub at the Cromwell Hotel-Casino on October 23rd.
9. Omar Apollo with Deb Never and Niko Rubio perform at the Brooklyn Bowl on October 25th at 7pm, tickets are $ 23.
10. The Biletnikoff Foundation is hosting its 21st Youth at Risk on October 22, 2021 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in the Champagne Ballroom.
11. Desert Breeze Park is hosting the Rainbow Run on October 23rd. The run starts at 7 a.m., pre-registration is required. Attendees are encouraged to wear all white at this exciting event.
12. The UNLV Skatin ‘Rebels will meet Arizona on October 23rd at 7:30 pm at the City National Arena.
13. The Nevada Department of Wildlife is holding its 3rd Annual Ducks & Donuts Event at the Youth Waterfowl Hunt scheduled for Saturday, October 23rd in the Overton Wildlife Management Area. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 1-855-542-6369
