Visit The Jungle on The Strip

Directly across from Caesar’s Palace is a 15 hectare oasis of the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. As you stroll through the gardens, see the pretty Chilean flamingos, various jungle trees, waterfalls, turtles and exotic birds, and much more. Guests can also have their picture taken with some of the exotic birds. Visiting the gardens is free. The habitat is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Eat a piece of Evel Pie

Daredevil fans can see the story of motorcycle stuntman Evel Knievel at Evel Pie. Check out a treasure trove of stuntman memorabilia while sipping a beer and enjoying delicious and unusual slices of pizza. At this facility on East Fremont Street, guests will see a retro pinball machine, photo stickers and a hanging motorcycle from the world famous stuntman collection. The brave can try some of the more adventurous toppings, including candied pork belly, man candy bacon, and rattlesnake sausage.

Learn about the history of American nuclear weapons

Explore past and present lessons on geopolitics and global nuclear deterrence at the National Atomic Testing Museum. The museum has more than 12,000 unique artifacts that showcase the history of the atomic bomb. A highlight in the museum is the Ground Zero Theater Simulation, where guests can experience a simulated atmospheric bomb explosion. Tickets for the self-guided tour are available online for the National Atomic Testing Museum. The museum is open every day except Wednesdays from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Be nostalgic about the pinball machine Hall of Fame

Be a pinball magician and experience an easier, carefree youth in the Pinball Hall of Fame. The more than 700 machines here date from the 1950s to 1990s and represent a special niche in the history of pop culture. Guests can not only see vintage games from the heyday of pinball games from the 1960s to 1980s, but also play them! The Pinball Hall of Fame has free entry and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Explore the Mojave Desert

A short drive takes you out of the chaos of Vegas and takes you to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Be dazzled by the spectacular red sandstone formations as you loop the 21 km scenic drive. There are over 26 trails here that are sure to spot dinosaur footprints, yucca plants, and even desert tortoises. Guests can also spend time in the area climbing, horse riding, camping, and more. Entry into the nature reserve for all activities is only possible after a time-limited entry permit system.

Scare at the Zak Bagans Haunted Museum

Visit a haunted house in downtown Vegas at the Zak Bagan Haunted Museum. This unusual place in the Arts District is home to spooky collectibles, creepy hallways, and secret passageways. Special artifacts on display in the 30+ unique exhibition spaces include Jack Kevorkian’s Death Van, Lugosis Mirror, and The Devil’s Rocking Chair. On the Late Night Flashlight Ghost Tour Experience, guests can experience a ghost hunt after work. The haunted museum tickets and special tours can be purchased online before your visit.

Ride the largest observation wheel in the world

See the entire Las Vegas Strip and beyond on the high roller. Take in breathtaking 360-degree views from 550 feet above the Strip on this 30-minute drive. The bike has the option to ride with an open bar where you can sip delicious cocktails while soaking up your spectacular surroundings. The high roller is open daily from afternoon to midnight.
