Now is the time to plan your next trip to Las Vegas thanks to cheap airfare from around the country. Vegas is a great destination for both beginners and regulars – there is always a new experience or show to see.
Right now we’re seeing airfares as low as $ 63 round-trip from Los Angeles (LAX), Dallas (DFW), Chicago (ORD), Oakland (OAK), and Denver (DEN) to Sin City. Fares can typically sneak over $ 100 round-trip. So you should act soon if you want to take advantage of these cheap tariffs.
The travel dates are usually scattered over November and December and include both short stays and those longer than a week. If you have flexible travel plans, you can even plan a longer stay around the Thanksgiving holiday.

Most of these fares are with Spirit Airlines, which are known for their perks that are usually free on other airlines. For example, if you want to bring more than one personal item – including carry-on and checked baggage – you will have to pay extra. However, if you can backpack lightly on a short weekend break these are really great fares not to be missed.
We recommend booking either directly through the airline or through an online travel agent such as Priceline, Expedia or Travelocity.

Vegas is a city that has no shortage of hotels. In fact, it has some of the more upscale, luxurious properties you’ll find across the country. Or if you want to travel on a budget you can find plenty of options too.
Consider booking one of these hotels for your Vegas vacation.
NoMad Las Vegas – Located in MGM Las Vegas Park, this property feels like a small boutique hotel with elegant furnishings. However, in addition to the NoMad’s own pool, you also have access to the smoke-free amenities of Park MGM.
The Cosmopolitan – This strip hotel is ideally located for exploring all that Vegas has to offer. It has the feel of a boutique hotel but all the amenities of a full service hotel. It is also a member of Marriott Bonvoy, which means that you can collect and redeem Bonvoy points at the Cosmopolitan.
Wynn Las Vegas – This is a great place to stay for travelers seeking the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas. It has its own full-service spa, pools, and a full casino on-site.
Circa Resort & Casino – This adults-only hotel is ideal for the budget-conscious traveler who doesn’t want to skimp on amenities. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant on site.

Now, when it comes to flying to Vegas, it is best to book your flight the right way to get the most out of your purchase. For example, there are a number of credit cards that receive additional rewards or perks when you book travel with them.
American Express’s Platinum CardĀ® is widely recognized as the best card for booking flights. You receive 5 points for every dollar you spend on flights booked directly with an airline or through Amex Travel when you use Amex Platinum. So when you book this $ 77 round-trip flight direct with United Airlines, you’ll earn 385 Amex points and miles in United’s MileagePlus program.
Alternatively, you can book these flights with a card such as Chase Sapphire ReserveĀ®, which gives you 3 points per dollar on travel, including flights, and a total of 5 points on air travel when you purchase through Chase Ultimate Rewards. When you’re ready to book your hotel, you can use the same card to collect 3 points for hotel and apartment bookings, or a total of 10 points for bookings through Ultimate Rewards.
And if you plan to book with an online travel agency like Priceline, remember to book your flights with a credit card that allows you to collect points for all trips, not just trips made directly with airlines or through the booking portal of an exhibitor.
