The acclaimed singer first takes the stage in Las Vegas in June 2022
LAS VEGAS, NV / ACCESSWIRE / Dec 7, 2021 / Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino announced today that Tony Award winner and internationally acclaimed singer Alfie Boe will perform for the first time in Las Vegas at Westgate’s iconic International Theater. Boe’s Las Vegas debut is scheduled for June 2022, with shows scheduled for Friday June 3 and Saturday June 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. PST. Advance ticket sales start on Friday, December 10th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
Alfie Boe has performed in some of the world’s most famous classical music venues, including the West End Theater in London, Broadway and Queen Elizabeth II. In addition, the Les Misérables Staged Concert, in which he starred, has just been nominated for a Grammy. Boe is creating an incredible new show for the Las Vegas audience with music from some of the greatest entertainers to perform on the stage at the historic International Theater.
Westgate Las Vegas International Theater is best known for its legendary resident headliners: Elvis, Liberace, Wayne Newton, Barry Manilow and many more. “I’m really excited to play in Las Vegas. ABOUT ALFIE BOE:
Alfie’s rise to classic fame was far from conventional. From his early years, his parents introduced him to a variety of musical styles including opera, country, rock ‘n’ roll, big band swing, pop, and rhythm & blues. Before he set out as a professional singer, he fell in love with drums, which are still his passion today.
His career exploded in 2002 when stage and film director Baz Luhrmann cast him in a leading role in the acclaimed Broadway revival of “La Bohème”. Alfie’s powerful performance earned him a Tony Award and marked his arrival on the international scene.
In 2019, Alfie Boe was awarded an OBE on the Queens Honors List. A well deserved honor for all that Alfie has done in music and charity.
Throughout his career, Alfie has gone his own way, prioritizing authenticity and emotion over convention. In his autobiography he reflects on the challenge of “learning all the rules so that I can break them”.
