Since it’s Women’s History Month, we don’t really need a special month to celebrate all of the hardworking, inspiring women who tear their asses in the Las Vegas food and beverage industry. Here we celebrate some of the women who, as owners (and sometimes chefs) of some of the most popular and renowned restaurants in Las Vegas, shape the local culinary scene in extraordinary ways.
And while this list puts an emphasis on restaurants owned by the Vegas locals, we’d be sloppy Last but not least, celebrity-backed, women-run restaurants on the Strip such as Giada in the Cromwell, owned by Giada de Laurentis; GIRLS Las Vegas, owned by Lorena Garcia; and Border grill in Mandalay Bay, owned by Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken.
Whether you’re staying on the Strip or eating your way through the greater Las Vegas area, make a point of supporting these great eateries not just during Women’s History Month but year round.
