NORD-LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The North Las Vegas Police Department is helping students prepare for the new school year. They held a back-to-school revival on Saturday and saw a large turnout.

Not only were tons of school supplies handed out, but free haircuts for children and COVID-19 vaccines, as well as dental and eye tests, were offered.

The event was designed to help families send their children back to the classroom after a difficult year.

With the pandemic, that really helps them because we couldn’t really do much when they go back to school and like I said we pay bills and a lot more so we took advantage of it here so that they can all get school supplies ” said the parent Victor Salmon.

This was the first “Cops Back to School Revive” event organized by the North Las Vegas City Council and Police.
