NORD-LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A North Las Vegas man was arrested Saturday after leaving a 6-year-old child in his car.
It happened at block 5100 on North Lamb Boulevard, north of Lone Mountain Road. The call came shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Once at the scene, first responders checked the child and cleared it. The 6-year-old was then taken into custody by the youth welfare office.

Jesse J. Ramires, 43, was arrested by police. He faces the following charges:
- Child Abuse or Neglect (F)
- Leaving a child unattended in a motor vehicle (M)
The maximum temperature in North Las Vegas on Saturday was 101 degrees.
