The masks are back.
The Nevada governor issued a new mandate that masks must be worn in public places, whether or not you have been vaccinated. The rule applies only indoors and includes all casinos, restaurants, and bars in Las Vegas and throughout Nevada.
The new rule came into effect on Friday and follows an earlier decree that all employees in companies must be masked. The rule does not apply to show members and musicians performing indoors, and no additional precautions have been taken other than instructing casinos to update their signage accordingly. The previous order for masks was discontinued in May.
No date has been given for an annulment or re-evaluation of this incarnation.

Question: I can’t believe downtown Main Street Station still hasn’t reopened. Is it possible for it to stay closed forever?
Reply: Boyd Gaming execs mentioned this on a conference call recently: “We are in the process of making plans to possibly reopen Main Street Station.” There is nothing definitive about the timing of this statement, but it also sounds like a permanent one Closing is unlikely and a short term reopening could be in the works.
