The crab friezes are on their way.
To the uninitiated, they might not sound like much – just crinkle-cut fries sprinkled with crab spice and served with a white cheese dipping sauce – but the sports bar chain Chickie’s & Pete’s has a cult following on the east coast for this signature creation. Built a following that is said to be positively addictive. And they come to the Sahara on October 6th.
It’s the company’s first location in the west, and all favorites are promised. This includes the Crabfeast, which with its 1 pound each of snow crab legs, dungeness crab legs and king crab legs should satisfy even Las Vegas buffet lovers. Plus the award-winning Lisa’s Blonde Lobster Pie, mussels in red or white sauce, wings, fried prawns and burgers like the Ultimate Tailgate, which features a beef patty with a lumpy crab cake and cheese as well as lettuce, tomato and onion.
And considering Chickie & Pete’s home in Philadelphia, you don’t think they’d ignore the cheesesteak, do you? That is covered here with variations including the classic, lobster, chicken, and buffalo chicken.
ESPN, who knows their way around sports, named Chickie’s & Pete’s the No. 1 Sports Bar in North America Dining Room.
The opening times are daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. or during the football season on weekends from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
