Another proof of the return to normal in Las Vegas is the resumption of soccer parties in casinos and bars. Although the parties aren’t as robust as they were before the pandemic, there are still some good gatherings across town.
On the weekends, the casino’s sportsbooks are full and crowd-pulling while all the games are shown on the big screens. The busiest are Las Vegas’ two premier sportsbooks in Circa and Westgate.
On Mondays, the best party in town takes place in South Point, where a large crowd gathers in the showroom for $ 1 hot dogs, $ 2 draft beers, and raffles for $ 1,000. Other good Monday night options near the Strip include Ellis Island, Silver Sevens, and Gold Coast. The best deal for beer is 77 cents for Bud or Bud Light in bottles at Silver Sevens.
Hut destroyed: One of Las Vegas’ historic landmarks, Mt. Charleston Lodge, was destroyed by fire. About 40 miles from town and 2,500 feet in the Spring Mountains, the lodge has served as a retreat for years for those looking for a quick retreat from the summer heat. The owners, the Ellis family from Ellis Island, have announced plans to convert a larger and better lodge.
Seasonal scene at the Bellagio: The fall exhibit at the Bellagio Conservatory, titled “Deeper Into the Woods,” features a tree house accessed by a wooden spiral staircase, families of red foxes and black bears, two dozen brightly colored mushrooms, tiny winged fairies, lighted acorns, and of course, pumpkins (the largest is 838 pounds). The ad runs until November 13th and is free to view.
Question: Does the new Resorts World Casino charge for parking?
Answers: As of now, parking at Resorts World is free, but don’t expect it to last. Gates are present and pay stations are positioned inside, suggesting that it is likely only a matter of time before a fee is charged for parking.
