Air Canada is adding several Sun Destination flights with its low-cost airline Rouge this fall.

On Tuesday, Rouge flew again from Toronto to Las Vegas and Orland. Later in September, the airline will also add direct flights to Cancun and Tampa.

“With the pandemic behind us, we anticipate increased demand for vacation travel and customers flying to enjoy overdue visits to family and friends,” said Rouge spokesman Jon Turner.

Air Canada ended its vacation-focused blush service in the spring of 2021, but is reintroducing flights as more people are vaccinated and certain countries lift travel restrictions.

Canada reopened its border to international travelers on September 7, although the government is still advising Canadian citizens to avoid non-essential travel due to COVID-19.

Fully vaccinated travelers no longer need to complete a two-week quarantine when entering Canada. All you need to do is show that you are immunized and have a negative COVID-19 test before you leave.
