Blake Shelton Opening Country Music Venue on Las Vegas Strip

Country star Blake Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties are bringing singer Ole Red’s fast-growing entertainment and hospitality brand to Las Vegas, as it became known this week.

The new Las Vegas Strip complex is slated to open in the Grand Bazaar Shops in front of Bally’s in 2023. The four-story, 27,000-square-foot venue will feature a 4,500-square-foot rooftop terrace and priced at $ 30 million, it will have 686 seats.

The venue will have a main dining level and two additional guest floors with a view of a central stage equipped with the latest video, acoustic and lighting technology. Travelers can enjoy “concert quality” live music from emerging and established artists while enjoying a Shelton-inspired menu of specialties and cocktails uniquely Sin City and “steeped in southern hospitality”.

Inspired by the artist’s 2001 hit of the same name, Ole Red already has locations in Orlando, Nashville and Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

“This really is the best piece of vacant real estate in Las Vegas, right across from the Bellagio Fountain,” Colin Reed, chairman and chief executive officer of Ryman, told Billboard.

“Las Vegas is one of the most important recreational playgrounds in the world with over 40 million tourists a year,” he added in a statement accompanying the announcement on Wednesday. “As we expand this brand into tourist and convention markets, Las Vegas is a perfect fit as many of its top feeder markets are home to high concentrations of country lifestyle consumers. “I’ve been going to Las Vegas for 20 years now and I never feel like there is enough country presence,” Shelton told Billboard.
