“Flair’s introduction of flights to the United States is an important milestone in our mission to make air travel affordable for everyone,” said Jones. “We continue to change the way Canadians think about air travel as they discover the freedom and benefits our low fares offer on their travels. We’re excited to add iconic US destinations like Las Vegas, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale to our network of Canadian travelers eager to explore the world again. “
Chris Jones, chief marketing officer for the Clark County Department of Aviation, added, “Las Vegas has long been a popular destination for visitors from all over Canada. With both the US and Canadian governments easing restrictions on international travel, Flair’s newest Toronto service will add additional markets to expand the ability for Canadians to comfortably enjoy the entertainment capital of the world. “
And Tom Nolan, President and CEO of Orlando Sanford International Airport, said, “Canada is one of the most exciting ways Orlando Sanford International Airport can generate additional passenger traffic. We have just completed a major terminal expansion and upgrade and are proud that Flair Airlines is taking advantage of these improvements. “
Flair first flew to the US from Winnipeg, Edmonton and Toronto in November 2018. The airline is currently focused on expanding into new markets as it receives new 737 MAX aircraft.
