EDMONTON – Flair Airlines is expanding its list of battles from Edmonton, including new non-stop flights to the US and additional winter flights within Canada.
The discounter will add non-stop routes to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Palm Springs and Hollywood Burbank from December and will extend through spring 2022.
In addition, the airline is expanding its existing summer air traffic to Kelowna and Victoria to include winter flights to both cities.
“Our relationship with Edmonton International Airport will continue to benefit Albertans as our low fares make travel accessible and affordable for all,” said Stephen Jones, President and CEO of Flair Airlines, in a press release.
Flair has also announced plans to station a 737-8 in Edmonton from December. The company announced in January that it would add 13 Boeing 737 Maxs to its fleet.
“Fair estimates that between direct and indirect employment, 50 new jobs will be created in addition to the 75 operations and business employees who are already based in Edmonton,” the company said in a press release.
Starting in December, Flair will fly twice a week from Edmonton to Phoenix, Palm Springs and Hollywood Burbank. There will be three flights a week to Las Vegas.
