Why are you coming to vegas Eat or be entertained? Prepare yourself for the best of both worlds (well, technically brunch, too) with these dinner-and-a-show options.
One of the most famous of them is The Mayfair Supper Club (Bellagio, 866.906.7171). This posh setting offers cabaret-style entertainment and an excellent menu – everything from seafood towers to grilled cauliflower. Sushi? Try the Mayfair with spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and hamachi and, if desired, caviar service. Mishima Wagyu Prime Rib is oh-so-decadent, but one of the best items on the menu comes for dessert. The milk chocolate, pear, and hazelnut cigar might make you rethink smoking. And Mayfair After Dark on Friday and Saturday evenings makes the bottle service even better.
Excalibur presents the quintessential dinner and show, featuring Tournament of Kings (702.597.7600) every night of the week. This swords-and-sorcery show is presented in an arena where you can marvel at horses and riders in a competition to see who is the best. Everyone there has the right, even the duty, to cheer his appointed ruler. What will you find to fill your belly? Dragon breath soup (also known as tomato), fried chicken and potatoes, broccoli, and a pastry; all good solid country fare and perfect for a medieval feast. You will also eat with your hands. There is a vegetarian option on request. Pyrotechnics rounds off the night.
If you want a really big show, join the new weekend brunch Spago (Bellagio, 702.702.693.7111) goes big.
