If you’re not rich enough to fly into space with Jeff Bezos, but still rich enough to do pretty much anything you want, you might be interested in plans to make a gigantic resort in the shape of the Build the moon in Las Vegas.

That’s right, a massive 224-meter-high replica of the moon, right on the Strip.

We are only at the stage where we can show you some artistic impressions of what it might look like, but there is something that could tell you about projects with Las Vegas that would surprise you or that you would not think is possible ?

If it gets the green light, it will be imaginatively called “Moon” and will be the second tallest building in Vegas next to the JW Marriott Hotel, but behind the 350-meter-high Strat Observation Tower.

It would also be the largest sphere in the world, although we are not sure if the earth itself falls into this category, making it the second.

However, they have an idea that it is going to be a giant ball.

Moon will have 4,000 hotel rooms, a casino and spa, a “crater café” and a lagoon.

In addition, the main attraction will be a “lunar colony” to which guests can travel with a special lunar shuttle.

But wait, that’s not all.

It will have an event center for 5,000 people, a theater for big gigs, a piano bar, loads of high-end boutiques, lounges and even a convention center.

Imagine holding your corporate meeting in a gigantic replica of the moon in Las Vegas.

LADbible hierarchy, take note.

There will also be a night club within the resort, as well as an ‘Enviromax’ walkaway, which will allow guests to view the world’s weather from a new perspective above them.

Apparently, this offers the chance to “see the eye of the hurricane out of the eye”.

But let’s hear more about this lunar colony.

After boarding a shuttle that goes through the resort like a roller coaster, guests travel to the top half of the sphere, where they spend 90 minutes in a 10 acre space decorated like the moon, complete with craters, moon buggies and all sorts.

They say it will “mimic this very” [lunar colonies] now under serious active planning from NASA, ESA and many others. ‘

The tickets will cost around £ 361 per person, which will help reclaim the £ 3.6 billion that the project could cost in total.

Michael Henderson, Co-Founder of Moon World Resorts with business partner Sandra Matthews, said, “When guests step on the lunar surface for the first time in their lives, there is no question that they will believe they are on the moon.”

The MWR brand statement reads: “The burgeoning space tourism industry is literally exploding. However, the price of admission is prohibitive!

“Moon provides the critical ‘bridge’ that enables a mass audience to actively and cheaply participate in the excitement.”

Henderson added, “The goal was to create an authentic mega-scale reproduction of the Earth’s moon with the largest sphere in the world.”

“Moon guests will enjoy a spectacular, first-hand touch and preview of what life will be like for the next human celestial body to live in.”

It is not yet being built, but the co-creators will seek to work with global companies that already have funding to develop the project.

You will also license the design in four locations: North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

That’s why one of the pictures shows the Moon Resort at the site of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa skyscraper.

We just have to see if any of this ever bears fruit. You have to imagine that if the billions are found to fund it, it would be a huge success.
