The 20,000-square-foot Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas Bavarian beer hall closed in March 2020 when the state ordered non-essential stores to temporarily close to slow the spread of COVID-19. Now, 440 days later, the ode to German beer and food is officially reopening with its mugs of German beers, a huge restaurant with schnitzel and sausage and space for 1,000 guests under 7-meter-high ceilings.
The 17-year-old Hofbräuhaus is known for its Oktoberfest celebrations, barrel tapping and currywurst and pork knuckles, which have livened up the very busy travel destination since the beginning of 2004. The location has long been a favorite for large corporate and group events.
The restaurant is located on the corner of Paradise Road and Harmon Avenue across from the recently opened Virgin Hotels and offers a replica of the original Hofbräuhaus am Platzl in Munich, Germany.
The Hofbräuhaus is expected to be open Mondays to Thursdays from 4 to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. MC Johann performs live Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 11pm and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm
