America’s Got Talent has arguably dominated the Las Vegas entertainment scene for the past 15 years, from Terry Fator to Tape Face, Piff the Magic Dragon, Mat Franco and Shin Lim. And another act from AGT will join this landscape, one that combines technology with cool dance moves – iLuminate.
The act definitely caught the attention of the judges of AGT – and the country – with its presentation. The dance company founded by Miral Kotb dressed in black and then turned off all the lights to make themselves invisible. Then the magic happened; their clothing was covered in LEDs and other light-generating hardware. Thanks to the timing of the lights and the acrobatics of their dance moves, they achieved the seemingly impossible. Even though they didn’t win their season, iLuminate had arrived. Since then, they have performed in more than 15 countries and their original dream – to have a headlining show in Vegas – has come true. “I feel like we’re bringing something so fun and different to town, and we’re glad everyone is coming out and joining the party,” said Kotb.
