KLM is “canceling” its service to Las Vegas and Miami this winter, with service to both cities in Amsterdam scheduled to begin on December 7th.

Earlier this month, KLM abandoned plans to start service in both cities on October 31, as the Dutch government describes the United States as a “very high risk area” and 10-day quarantine requirements even for US travelers vaccinated against Covid are added. 19. However, the Netherlands dropped these requirements two weeks later, and along with the announcement that the US would be accepting vaccinated international visitors from November onwards, KLM reversed its decision. The airline flies three flights a week to each city.

KLM is also adding four new destinations to its flight schedule this winter: Cancun, Mexico; Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; Bridgetown, Barbados; and Mombasa, Kenya.
