Just like Tulum! Hospitality veteran Ryan Labbe opened its La Neta Cocina y Lounge restaurant in Downtown Summerlin at the beginning of the summer with the aim of bringing Mexico’s tropical aesthetics to Las Vegas.

The sprawling restaurant – across from the Las Vegas Ballpark – spans 5,336 square feet and has been specially designed to highlight natural elements through its decorative use of warm, earthy tones. The dining room is framed by a trellis made of worn bricks and wooden beams at the entrance.

As soon as guests arrive in the La Neta room, they are greeted by plush booths, falling vines, and large chandeliers that hang from the ceiling. The walls are decorated with custom abstract artwork from a Los Angeles-based artist Movethat accompany hand-carved vintage mirrors on the walls.

While wall paintings made of mosaic stained glass create outstanding accent walls, the restaurant makes a statement thanks to the 3 meter long living sugar tree in the middle of the room, which is intended to invite nature into the culinary experience of the guests.

The lounge area is also decorated with woven rattan hanging chairs, tapestries suspended from the ceiling, living art installations, and bespoke stained-glass paintings and warm colors that take guests to the beaches of the Yucatán Peninsula without leaving the cosmopolitan venue.

True to the natural theme of the restaurant, the La Neta Lounge has a terrarium-style bar that’s full of succulents and breathable glass.

The restaurant also aims to take a modern approach to traditional Mexican cuisine with creative interpretations of classic dishes and flavors.

The La Neta Cocina Y Lounge is located at 1770 Festival Plaza Drive, Suite 200 in Las Vegas and is open Sunday through Thursday between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. PT and Friday and Saturday between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. PT. opened . The lounge area is open daily from 3:00 p.m. PT until closing.
