Prepare Your Taste Buds! The Visit Henderson Lake Las Vegas Golf & Food Festival returns to Lake Las Vegas this Labor Day weekend with delicious bites and cocktails from some of the valley’s best restaurants and chefs.
The eagerly anticipated weekend festival spans a period of three days, beginning on September 3rd and ending with the evening dinner celebration The Feast in Reflection Bay.
“We’re excited to bring one of the most popular Lake Las Vegas dining experiences back to Reflection Bay,” said Scott Commings, Executive Chef at Lake Las Vegas. “It’s a great opportunity for community residents and guests alike to enjoy an evening of delicious food and liquor by the water.”
Commings is one of several local restaurants and chefs who present their favorite dishes at the Sunday event. Its tasting stations offer delicacies such as the yaki burger with sesame-flavored sliders with spring onions, ginger, pineapple jam, crispy noodles and hand-cut furikake fries; spicy ahi poke with creamy sriracha and tobiko caviar; Dynamite shrimp fish and chips with seasoned aioli and crispy chips; and Mediterranean chicken tacos with spiced yogurt and lemon.
Other notable restaurants showcasing at the lakeside event include the Double Helix Wine & Restaurant Group, Kassi Beach House, Crumbl Cookies, Mimosa Royale, and El Luchador Mexican Cantina + Kitchen.
Throughout the evening, in addition to food sampling, guests can enjoy unique cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer while dancing to live music by the popular Las Vegas band Zowie Bowie. General admission starts at $ 75 and VIP tickets with VIP tables are available.
“This is one of the most popular events we hold at Lake Las Vegas and we are very excited to bring it back completely and safely this year,” said Patrick Parker, president of Raintree Investment Corp., developer of Lake Las. Vegas.
The festival kicks off with a Friday evening reception that includes gourmet food, cocktails and wine along with live music throughout the evening. The next morning at 9:00 am, Reflection Bay Golf Club will host the opening round of the golf tournament. Throughout the morning, golfers can compete in a pool of 30 teams in a four-way scramble on the award-winning Jack Nicklaus golf course. The top four gross teams and top four net teams in the tournament will advance to the finals on September 5th at the private SouthShore Country Club.
Golf tournament entry fees include tea prizes, round-the-round refreshments, continental breakfast, catered lunch, and free dinner tickets to the Sunday night food and wine event.
