Labor Day weekend just got a lot more relaxed. One of the top annual events in Lake Las Vegas, the Visit Henderson Lake Las Vegas Golf & Food Festival returns to Reflection Bay Golf Club September 3-5.
“This is one of the most popular events we hold at Lake Las Vegas and we are excited to bring it back completely and safely this year,” said Patrick Parker, president of Raintree Investment Corp., developer of Lake Las. Vegas. “It’s a great opportunity for our residents and guests to come together and enjoy a fun weekend by the water.”
All proceeds from the weekend event will go to Project 150, a local nonprofit that provides free support and assistance to homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students through to graduation.
Golfers start the weekend with a September 3rd reception that includes gourmet food, cocktails and wine, and live music throughout the evening. The following day, Reflection Bay Golf Club will host the opening round of the tournament. Throughout the morning, golfers can compete in a pool of 60 teams in a four-way scramble golf tournament on the award-winning Jack Nicklaus golf course. Eight teams will advance to the finals on September 5th at the private SouthShore Country Club.
Entry fees to the golf tournament include tea prizes, refreshments during rounds, continental breakfast, catered lunches, and free dinner tickets to the Sunday evening food and wine event. Golfers can take part in the tournament in groups of four or as individuals in order to be included in a team by the tournament organizers. Tickets are $ 1,600 per team of four or $ 400 for an individual reservation.
Lake Las Vegas closes the weekend with The Feast Celebration on September 5th. The grand finale at Reflection Bay Golf Club features dining from a variety of local restaurants and chefs, including Lake Las Vegas’ in-house chef Scott Commings. While diners sample their favorite foods, diners can sip unique cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, and dance to live music by Zowie Bowie, one of the city’s most popular local bands. General admission starts at $ 75 and VIP tickets and tables are available.
