A great trip to Las Vegas after vaccination may seem like a great way to celebrate your return to normal life, but don’t let your plans happen by chance.
Many have returned to normal, but if it has been hot since you’ve been there you’ll find that the pandemic is still affecting the city.
Restaurants, hotels and casinos are open. The show and performer residence is back. But like everywhere else, a staff shortage can affect the services available and how quickly you can reach Uber or Lyft.
Here are five things you need to know when planning your next trip to Las Vegas.

Employees need face masks, guests need optional
With COVID-19 rising in the state, the South Nevada Health District has recently become overcrowded with vaccinated and unvaccinated people who “may come into contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.” We have issued a recommendation to “wear the mask indoors in public places”.
Following the move, the Clark County Commission, which includes the Las Vegas Strip, voted on July 20 to require employees to wear masks indoors.
We also needed a location for more than 250 people. Submit to committee a plan to contain the spread of the virus.
The employee mask requirement ends on August 17th. Masks are optional for guests.

Las Vegas parking fees are back

Don’t expect to walk and get a table. Some restaurants are still only fully booked. Some have a staff shortage and are limited in capacity. Popular new spots like the newly opened Wynn Las Vegas Supper Club Delilah were booked a few weeks in advance.

The Las Vegas Buffet is back, but not all
The prediction that a pandemic could kill Las Vegas’ famous all-you-can-eat buffet turned out to be false. Several popular buffets have reopened with new features like roaming dim sum carts and small plates. These Las Vegas buffets resumed on July 21st.
