The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has launched a new advertising campaign around Vegas as a wedding destination, regardless of whether it is spontaneous or lavishly planned.
Under the title “Forever Happens Here”, the campaign shows all the ways in which couples can tie the knot or celebrate their anniversaries.

The tagline is a spin-off of the entire Las Vegas advertising campaign from “What Happens Here Only Happens Here”.
“Las Vegas is known as the wedding capital of the world and that encompasses every aspect of the wedding planning process from engagement to vow renewal,” said H. Fletch Brunelle, LVCVA vice president of marketing, in a statement. “Forever Happens Here is reaching out to the next generation of couples, demonstrating the endless possibilities that can be tailored to create a celebration as unique as you are. If you can dream about it, you can do it in Las Vegas . “
There’s no question that the city offers a plethora of wedding options, whether it’s the many chapels offering quick ceremonies or the myriad attractions Vegas has to offer, including museums and galleries, or lavish events at the many upscale resorts.
The campaign will also highlight the many professionals in the city who work on weddings, including planners, caterers, and more.
“We’re excited about this new campaign because it really takes forever here,” said Clark County clerk Lynn Marie Goya in a press release. “Every year we marry more newlyweds than anywhere else in the world and we have so many great love stories to tell. As we celebrate our 5 millionth marriage certificate, this campaign sounds truer than ever. “
“Forever Happens Here” will run digitally and on social channels. The five millionth wedding license is expected to be issued sometime in 2022.
